A Viennese flat stripped back and rebuilt, from the plan to the last fitting.
A 45 m² flat in a Gründerzeit building in the 16th district, where the old layout had the kitchen and the bathroom in the same room. It was stripped back and rebuilt on a new plan. The kitchen now doubles as the walkway through the flat, the bathroom and the bedroom only became possible once the walls moved, and a wardrobe was built into the bedroom niche. Everything behind the surfaces is new as well, all of the plumbing and all of the wiring, and the old boiler and sheet-steel stove gave way to the building's central heating. Built February to July 2026, and the tenant moved in on the first of August.
